If you love puppets (and let's face it, who doesn't?) you'll LOVE Avenue Q!
Avenue Q is a hilarious musical that tells the timeless story of a recent college grad named PRINCETON who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. There, he meets KATE (the girl next door), ROD (the Republican), TREKKIE (the internet sexpert), LUCY THE SLUT (need we say more?), and other colorful types who help PRINCETON finally discover his purpose in life!
Performances take place at the LGBT Center of St. Louis.
Let's face it - we've all sat back at one point or another and thought "WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH MY LIFE?" and some of us are still asking that question, so come hang out with us on AVENUE Q!
Pseudo Disclaimer: Adults love AVENUE Q, but they seem a little, er, fuzzy on whether it's appropriate for kids. AVENUE Q is great for older teenagers because it's about real life. It may not be appropriate for younger children because AVENUE Q addresses issues like sex, drinking, and surfing the web for porn. In 2008 [insert name here] Theatre Company, was launched into existence and has enjoyed a successful career of producing a myriad of theatrical entertainment options for the city of St. Louis. Now, after a short break, [insert name here] is relaunching with a renewed focus of producing top quality entertainment and providing opportunities for evolving artists to challenge themselves with contemporary work.
